Hoban and Associates, Inc. (Hoban) is a small, minority, woman-owned and veteran-owned consulting firm founded by Nichole Hoban Kagwisa in February 2008.

Nichole is a Big Picture strategist. With more than 20 years’ experience, Nichole  brings solid capability in project management, organizational development and management, strategic planning, business process improvement, performance management and technology implementation to solve complex business challenges and achieve program goals in support of client missions.

As a logical thinker, Nichole has a unique ability to step back, assess, and analyze how things fit together. She has a proven record of helping organizations envision their strategic potential and desired program impact through analysis of critical business requirements, identification of opportunities for improvement, and development of innovative and cost-effective solutions for building revenue, reducing costs and improving operational efficiency and quality.

Nichole’s diverse background gives her the versatility to help her clients find solutions to the complex problems they face. She has held leadership positions at Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC), Dayna International, SciMetrika and Total Solutions, Inc.

Hoban’s initial focus was providing business and proposal development services to small and large businesses competing for federal contracts and grants. After assisting our clients retain and generate more than $400M in awards, and providing a host of supplemental support services –  Nichole decided to take her years of experience and developed expertise along with her passion for organizational design and development to assist her existing and new clients and the federal government improve the way they do business. Ultimately assisting them achieve greater levels of customer experience (internal and external).
